สำหรับวันนี้ผมมี Free VST มาแนะนำให้ได้ลองใช้กันหนึ่งตัวครับจากค่าย Mildon ครับอาจไม่คุ้นหูกันสักหน่อยนะครับ แต่เป็น Plug ที่น่าสนใจทีเดียวครับที่สำคัญคือแจกฟรี น่าเสียดายที่ไม่ได้ลองรับ Mac ผมเลยไม่ได้มีโอกาสได้ลองดู เพื่อนๆที่ใช้ PC ก็สามารถนำไปใช้ได้นะครับ กับทุกโปรแกรมที่ Host รองรับ VST ครับ

ส่วนเจ้าตัวที่ผมกำลังพูดถึงก็คือ Plug ที่ชื่อว่า "Vocals" สำหรับ Vocals นั้นเป็น Plug ที่ทำหน้าที่เป็น Exciter ครับโดยใช้งานง่ายและไม่ยากเพียงสองสามปุ่มในการทำงาน และใช้หูเราในการตัดสินใจก็เท่านั้นเองครับ Vocals นั้นใช้ได้กับ Track ที่เป็น Stereo เท่านั้นนะครับ

การใช้งานก็ควรที่จะทำการใส่ Plug ตัวนี้ก่อนการ EQ ครับ และทำการปรับแต่งซึ่งก็มีด้วยกันสองปุ่มคือปุ่มที่ใช้สำหรับเพิ่ม Body หรือเนื้อเสียงให้กับร้อง และ Air ก็เป็นการเพิ่มความโปร่งหรือเติมลมให้กับร้องครับ ตามใจชอบกันไปแล้วก็ค่อย EQ

หรือเราอาจเอาไปดัดแปลงทำอย่างอื่นก็ได้นะครับ เช่นอาจส่ง Bus ไป Reverb แล้วตามด้วย Vocals ก็ได้เพื่อเพิ่มเนื้อเสียงให้ Reverb หรือว่าเพิ่ม Hi ให้ Reverb ครับ ก็ลองกันดู รายละเอียดต่างๆและ Link Download ไปดูต่อได้ที่เว็บผู้พัฒนาครับ อ้อ และยังมี Plug อื่นๆอีกนะครับ แต่ต้องจ่ายตังค์ ^ ^

วันนี้ท่อง Web หาข้อมูลไปเรื่อยๆก็ไปป๊ะเข้ากับ VST Plugins ของ PC ซึ่งเป็น 10 Bands parametric EQ เข้าก็เลยเข้าไปดูหน้าตาดูดีครับ แถมเป็น freeware อีกต่างหากผมว่าเพื่อนๆที่อยากลองหรือหา plug ดีๆไม่ควรมองข้ามครับ download ไปทดลองได้เลย ส่วนผมคงขอตัวเพราะมันใช้ได้กับ PC เท่านั้นไม่มีเวอร์ชั่น Mac ครับ

TC Electronic M30

สำหรับใครที่กำลังมองหา Reverb คุณภาพดีในแบบฉบับเดียวกับ Hardware แต่ไม่มีเงินก้อน นี่เลยครับ TC M30 ซึ่งทาง TC Electronic เปิดให้ Download Free ย้ำ Free รองรับทั้ง Mac และ PC ครับ ซึ่งทำออกมาเป็นแบบ Native ไม่ต้องอาศัย Hardware ใดๆ

ซึ่งทั้งหมดคุณนำไปใช้ได้กับ DAW ทุกตัวเพราะ M30 มาทั้ง VST และ AU ที่สำคัญที่ผมได้ทดสอบดูแล้วต้องบอกว่าเสียงดีจริงๆตั้งแต่ใช้ Plugins มายอมรับครับว่าตัวนี้ Focus ชัดมากทีเดียว แต่น่าเสียดายว่าเค้าให้เราใช้แค่ Hall อย่างเดียวนะครับ แต่ที่น่าเสียดายกว่านั้นคือเค้าเปิดให้ Download Free แค่ 3 วันเท่านั้นครับ นี่ก็วันนึงแล้ว หากใครอ่านเจอบทความนี้ก็รีบไปโหลดไว้นะครับ ต้องบอกพลาดแล้วจะเสียใจ

Tube Saturator

ช่วงนี้ Plugins ใหม่ๆน่าใช้เยอะมาก สำหรับตัวนี้ Tube Saturator จากค่าย Wavearts ค่ายนี้หลายคนรู้จักกันเป็นอย่างดี ที่ผ่านมาหน้าตา Plug จะออกไปทาง Catoon หรือ Fantacy เสียมากกว่า ซึ่งอันนี้ผมพูดเองนะครับเพราะคิดอย่างนั้น

แต่พอถึง Plug ตัวล่าสุดผมยอมรับครับว่าออกแบบ interface ได้ดีขึ้นมากประทับใจผมเลยครับ แต่คุณภาพเสียงก็อีกเรื่องนะครับผม แต่ว่ากันว่าตัวนี้ไม่ธรรมดาเพราะจากที่ทางผู้พัฒนาได้อธิบายไว้

ด้วยคุณสมบัติการจับการเปลี่ยนแปลง Sonic ต่างๆซึ่ง plug ทั่วไปที่จำลองหลอดจะทำเพียงการจับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของหลอด แต่สำหรับ Tube Saturator นี้ได้จับทั้งการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เกิดขึ้นจากแผงวงจร และอุปกรณ์ภายในต่างๆเช่น Capasisters, Resisters ฯลฯ โดยจับการเปลี่ยนแปลงต่างๆอย่างละเอียด

ซึ่งนี่เองเป็นจุดที่แตกต่างกันระหว่าง Plug ดีๆจำพวก Convolution ต่างๆกับ Plug ที่เขียนหรือคำนวนขึ้นมาเองครับ แต่กระนั้นลายระเอียดก็ไม่ได้บอกไว้ว่า ได้จำลองหรือจับความเปลี่ยนแปลงมาจากอุปกรณ์ตัวไหน ส่วนหลอดที่ใช้แน่นอนครับ มาตรฐาน 12AX7 เป็นเช่นเดิม เพียงแต่ก็ไม่ได้ให้รายละเอียดเรื่องของหลอดเช่นเดียวกัน

Leveling Amp

หากพูดถึง Leveling Amp สักตัวผมว่าหลายคนคงรู้จัก LA-3A จากค่าย Universal Audio เป็นแน่ไม่อย่างนั้นอย่างน้อยก็ต้องผ่านหู ผ่านตา มาบ้าง เพราะจัดเป็น Compressor/Limiter ที่ใช้งานง่ายและให้บุคลิคเสียงที่ดี

แต่ที่ผมพูดมาทั้งหมดนี้ผมกำลังจะอ้างอิงเฉยๆ เพราะวันนี้ผมมี Freeware Plugin สำหรับ PC เป็น VST ประเภท Leveling มาให้ใช้กันครับจากค่าย Dream Vortex Studio ประเทศอังกฤษครับ เค้าทำมาแจกจ่ายให้ใช้งานกันฟรีๆ ทำออกมาหน้าตาได้เทียบเคียง UAD เลยทีเดียวครับ ส่วนคุณภาพเสียงต้องไปลองกันเองนะครับเพราะเนื่องจากผมใช้ MAC เลยไม่ได้ทำการทดลองว่าแล้วไป Download กันโลดครับ
